If the temperature of a viscous medium changes on its way from the storage tank to the filling or dosing station, this directly affects its flow properties. The product becomes more viscous, dosing accuracy suffers and, in the worst case, the system comes to a standstill. Our KLETTI food heating hose or pharmaceutical heating hose maintains the set temperature continuously along the entire conveying route, controlled by a Pt-100 or thermocouple sensor on the hose itself.
The smooth PTFE inner core also ensures that no residues accumulate on the inner wall and that material flow remains constant, even when products are changed frequently. The washable silicone outer jacket can be easily integrated into your existing cleaning intervals without impairing the sensors or connections.

For use in food or pharmaceutical production, we offer a heating hose with a washable silicone outer jacket and silicone end caps[MD1] , protected to IP65 (IP66 also available on request). Thanks to this IP65/66 protection, the hose is suitable for regular cleaning processes – such as CIP (Clean in Place) or SIP procedures (Sterilize in Place). The PTFE inner core has FDA approval for food contact. Depending on the requirements, we equip the hose with a Pt-100 temperature sensor or thermocouple so that the temperature can be maintained precisely by a controller. Does the hose need to be flushed before first use?
For sensitive media, we generally recommend flushing before initial use. We will coordinate the exact procedure with you based on your product and system specifications.
