ANALYSIS HEATING HOSES | SOLUTIONS FROM KLETTI

Analysis heating hoses for industrial gas analysis.

Condensate-free sampling lines.

Constant temperature, reliable measurement results. Whether flue gas, process gas or emissions measurement: KLETTI analysis heating hoses reliably keep the gas temperature above the dew point along the entire sampling line and effectively prevent condensate formation in the measurement gas. We configure each analysis heating hose individually for your measurement line, always matched to your gas conditioning system, with the required number of replaceable inner tubes and designed for low-maintenance continuous operation.

Your advantages with KLETTI heating hoses at a glance

  • Maximum measurement reliability
Continuous trace heating prevents the temperature from falling below the dew point, condensate formation and the resulting inaccurate measurement results.

  • Best compatibility
Mechanical and electrical replicas of all standard connections, suitable for almost every gas conditioning system and analyzer on the market.

  • 100% quality assurance
In-house manufacturing allows for custom lengths, multiple replaceable inner tubes and high-temperature versions up to 800 °C.

  • Safety through certification
As one of the few European manufacturers, we combine DIN-ISO-9001 certification with our own UL/CSA testing, a prerequisite for exporting our analysis heating hoses to the USA and Canada.

  • High cost efficiency
Optional systems with replaceable inner tubes significantly reduce the maintenance and downtime costs of your measurement system.

The most precise process gas analysis and emissions measurement in industry.

If the gas temperature is not reliably maintained above the dew point on its way from the sampling point to the analyzer, moisture condenses inside the hose. The consequences are critical in two ways. On the one hand, the condensate binds dirt and dust particles from the flue gas, thereby promoting blockage of the line. On the other hand, the condensed liquid changes the composition of the sample gas. The measurement results at the analyzer are distorted and, in the worst case, the sensor fails completely.

This is precisely where our heated sampling lines ensure the data quality of continuous emissions monitoring systems (CEMS), whether in waste incineration plants, power plants, chemical plants or refineries. Whether as part of the German TA Luft, EN 15267 for Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems or comparable national regulations: A continuously temperature-controlled measurement gas line is an essential component of legally compliant emissions monitoring. Our analysis heating hoses are designed precisely for this requirement and act as a reliable link between the sampling probe and gas conditioning system.

For analytical measurement technology, we develop solutions for all industry requirements: robust lines for aggressive, corrosive process gases in chemical plants and refineries, high-temperature versions for the extreme outlet temperatures at power plants and waste incineration plants, as well as custom-made products for particularly long lines. Each analysis heating hose is individually designed and manufactured according to your system conditions, from the nominal diameter and number of inner tubes to the external insulation. This ensures that sample gas transport remains reliably condensate-free even with highly fluctuating flue gas compositions and highly specific measurement media.

Frequently asked questions about our heated sampling lines and measurement gas hoses (FAQs). You ask. We answer.

What length can a KLETTI analysis heating hose be manufactured in?

Depending on the system layout, even long lines are no problem. We manufacture analysis heating hoses in custom lengths of well over 50 m when the sampling point and analyzer are structurally far apart. Continuous heating ensures that the gas temperature reliably remains above the dew point over the entire distance.

In which installation locations can the hoses be used?

Our analysis heating hoses are designed for installation both indoors, for example along pipe racks and into control cabinets, and outdoors in the open air. Depending on the environmental conditions (weather, mechanical loads, limited space), we individually coordinate the external protective braiding, insulation and connection technology.

Can KLETTI analysis heating hoses heat the measurement gas themselves?

No. Our heating hoses are designed solely as trace heating. The measurement gas must already be fed into the hose at the correct thermal condition. The hose maintains this temperature without loss along the entire route to the analyzer. Active heating of cold gas does not take place.

Why is it worthwhile to invest in a CEMS hose with a replaceable inner tube?

With a standard heating hose, a blocked or worn inner tube usually necessitates replacing the entire system, including the heating conductor and sensors. With our version with a replaceable inner tube, you only replace the affected PTFE or PFA inner tube. Measurement resumes within a very short time. This reduces your spare parts costs and noticeably minimizes the downtime of your emissions monitoring system.
